The Vapor 1X Elbow pads from Bauer offer incredibly lightweight protection for the Elite player of all ages. Built from a base of the APX2, the 1X adds curv composite in key impact areas and features molded pieces to better fit to the player. Keeping true to the Vapor line, the APX2 offers a tapered, snug fit for ultimate mobility. The two-piece design uses Bauer’s Free Flex cap technology to allow for a natural feel and increased range of motion. The Injected cap covered with MD foam lets the elbow sit properly in the sling while the 3-strap system featuring a lock strap and elastic strap hold the arm in place and decrease unwanted movement. The bicep guard features AEROLITE technology with a molded component to sit in a more natural position against the upper arm and keep protection at a maximum. On the other side of the pad, along the forearm guard, Curv composite, HD inserts and AEROLITE technology offer maximum protection at the highest impact area. The 1X is complete with Bauer’s transfer mesh at the interior elbow joint and a 37.5 technology liner to further reduce weight and better maintain odor and moisture control.
