Brand new for 2022, CCM introduces the latest version of their flagship line, the Axis A2.9! Axis A2.9 builds on the success of the original Axis and introduces new technology and materials to take your game to an even higher level. CCM introduces its all-new turning angle 591 on the Axis A2.9, which is based on the very popular turning angle of 590 or 60 degrees, but redesigned for improved closure and feel. Together with a completely new LITECORE cuff design in one piece, the Axis A2.9 offers a large blocking surface to show to the shooter and enable a natural catch. Layered foam protection in the palm and a playful palm allows easy breaking. In the glove pocket, CCM has taken the huge success from the previous models and added the Double Straight T on the Axis A2.9. This pocket allows the goalkeeper to completely look into the pocket and still give in to a soft catch. At the base of the spine on the T there is a U-shaped design that keeps a clean attachment point and promotes a simple break-in and a game-ready feeling. To the inside of the glove, CCM has completely changed the fit of the Axis A2.9. It now has a Cross Form strap, which secures the back of the hand via several attachment points. A Suregrip palm provides comfort and feeling. The backhand and the cuff use the brand new FlexMotion2 design, where the cuff offers strategic Flex Pints and protection that enables a greater range of motion, the backhand has a strategic Tri-Flex design that offers unsurpassed high impact protection.
