The CCM Axis A1.5 Goalie Pants are built for the Junior goalie and feature all-new construction to keep goalies properly covered with protection but with increased mobility. The groin, hips, and thighs are able to overlap one another so a goalies legs can obtain a better range of motion when transitioning between movements while ensuring there is proper coverage in all areas from puck impacts. Thick foam makes up most of the goalie's protection with hard, molded plastic boosting up key impact areas such as the lower thighs and hips. This offers the Junior goaltender optimal protection for their gameplay with a lightweight design to keep them agile in the crease. Built with a loose fit, the Axis A1.5 Pants boast great coverage and feature two adjustable nylon belts, one internally and one externally, allowing goalies to really fine-tune their fit and comfort. To top things off CCM added a hidden zipper extension beneath the padded belt, allowing the pants to extend in length one more inch.

New for 2020 is True’s flagship goal stick, the AX9. It uses all the same technologies seen in their player stick department such as their FiberShield, BRT+, Axenic and SmartPly to create a lightweight, balanced yet durable stick. The AX9 features a braided rib throughout the paddle for a thinner, lighter paddle that is more durable than that of previous A series goal sticks. A low kick profile gives a feel similar to that of a foam core when playing the puck giving goalies a stick that promotes quick releases and improves puck feel and control. Finally, a redesigned balance point that sits right near the shoulder creates a lighter stick that is 5% lighter than its predecessor. Shaft Construction The shaft is made using a combination of True’s FiberShield and Axenic technologies. FiberShield technology which is an array of nanoparticles distributed throughout the shaft for improved balance and durability. Axenic technology creates a compression molded shaft that gives more direct puck feel and better control. Paddle Construction True uses the same BRT+ technology seen in their AX9 player stick in the paddle of the AX9 goal stick. It is meant to make for a stronger yet lighter paddle with a more durable construction. As seen in the shaft, the paddle uses the same FiberShield technology to improve balance and durability over previous A series sticks. Blade Construction/Stiffness Using FiberShield, BRT+ and SmartPly technologies, the blade of the AX9 goal stick is a great balance of thin, stiff and durable. SmartPly is used to optimize the angles of the fibers being laid down in order to create a higher impact strength while keeping weight down. Graphics The AX9 stick comes in either a black paddle with white lettering or a white with black lettering. Both sticks feature a light blue spotted grip pattern and a solver shaft. Grip A unique speckled grip pattern is used on the shoulder of the AX9 goal stick. It provides a solid feeling grip when holding the stick but is slick enough to allow for quick poke check or puck playing motions where your blocker needs to be able to slip away. The CCM Extreme Flex E5.5 SR Blocker continues the legacy of the popular Extreme Flex line. The fifth E-Flex rendition from CCM brings new technologies to a winning design. A mobile FlexMotion cuff in a lightweight, balanced package makes the E5.5 a great option for goalies. External Material The CCM E5.5 blocker is wrapped in CCM’s proprietary SpeedSkin material. SpeedSkin on a blocker doesn’t have the same slide benefit as it does on pads. However, it is a lighter material than traditional Jenpro, and keeps the material consistent throughout a goalie’s entire setup. Internal Construction The EFlex E5.5 features a lightweight blocking board that is made up of heat-laminated dual-density and PE foam. This blocker board constriction gives goalies optimal rebound control and a balanced feel. Palm Material The palm of the E-Flex E5.5 is made up of reinforced Nash. This material provides durability, while maintaining feel and grip. Side Hand Protection The sidewall of the E5.5 goalie blocker features a stiff sidewall design, paired with straight finger protection. A stiffened sidewall protects against shot impacts, and straight finger protection defends against pucks that ride up the stick. Cuff The adjustable FlexMotion cuff on the E5.5 gives goalies ample mobility, while the velcro cuff allows goalies to customize their fit. Hand Protection The hand protection stays similar to previous CCM blockers. This consists of moderate finger protection, using an HD foam wrap that protects from shots without sacrificing control and mobility.
